Lori Conger



Lori Conger brings years of volleyball experience to Wildcat Volleyball. Starting in Jr. High, Lori finished three undefeated seasons. Her success as a player continued in High School, where she played for Cokeville High School (Cokeville, WY) on a team that held a 142-match winning streak in Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho. This team was invited to participate in the prestigious Reebok Tournament in Chicago, Illinois all four years Lori was in high school, competing against the best high school teams in America. Lori earned All-Conference and All-State honors her junior and senior years and achieved four state championship titles during her high school career. After high school, Lori played for Eastern Wyoming college, where they earned a ranking of eighth in the nation her sophomore year.

Lori also has years of coaching experience. She spent years coaching high school and junior high volleyball camps for Chad Teichert, current head coach at Idaho State University and one of the top volleyball clinicians in the nation. She continues to coach a junior high camp in Rock Springs, Wyo every summer, where more than 60 girls attend. She has coached for Club Xtreme the past two years and is excited to coach a Power Team for the Wildcats this year. Lori is Impact Training certified and grew up playing Gold Medal Squared volleyball, attending camps each summer coached by Hall of Fame coach, Carl McGown.

Lori believes strongly in using positive reinforcement and the values of double-goal coaching to motivate players to succeed. She also understands the value of teaching proper fundamentals and believes in the power of goal-setting both as individuals and teams to be successful.

Lori is the mother of five children, ranging in ages from 12 to six months. She and her husband, Daniel, live in Kaysville, Utah.
